Dr. JC Phelps is an Assistant Professor of Business at Lindsey Wilson University in Columbia, Kentucky, where he teaches economics, finance, and upper-level marketing. At the university, he was honored by the Lindsey Wilson University Student Government Association as Professor of the Year. His work focuses on applied economics, financial markets, economic development, and consumer behavior, with an emphasis on how these areas shape communities and inform business decision-making. He also serves as a summer instructor for the Kentucky Governor’s Scholars Program, teaching Business, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship, and is the Statewide Training Coordinator for the Kentucky Small Business Development Center, where he designs and delivers training programs for entrepreneurs and small-business owners across all 120 counties of the Commonwealth.
